  • Guest: May browse listings but cannot view breeder details, contact info, or certifications.

Breeder Obligations

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date certifications and comply with ethical breeding standards.
  • Ensure listings truthfully represent animals (breed, health, age, pricing).
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

User Conduct

  • No scams, fraud, or illegal activity.
  • No harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior.
  • No intellectual property violations or misinformation.

Safety and Payments

Moderation Rights

3.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and any pets you list on the platform. You must not provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

3.3 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Violate any international, federal, provincial, or state rules, laws, or local ordinances
  • Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
  • Spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape

  • Interfere with or circumvent the security features of the service

4. Pet Listings and Transactions

4.1 Listing Accuracy

Breeders and sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their pet listings, including but not limited to breed, age, health status, and pricing information. We do not verify the accuracy of listings.

4.2 Transactions

All transactions between users are conducted directly between the parties involved. Petridian is not a party to these transactions and does not guarantee the quality, health, or availability of any animals. We strongly recommend meeting in person and verifying all information before completing any transaction.

4.3 Safety Guidelines

Users must follow our safety guidelines when contacting breeders:

  • Never send advance payments before meeting the pet and breeder in person
  • Meet in a safe, public location for your first meeting
  • Ask to see health certificates and breeding records
  • Use trusted payment methods and avoid wire transfers or gift cards
  • Trust your instincts and report suspicious activity

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post on the platform, including photos, descriptions, and other materials. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the service.

5.2 Platform Content

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Petridian and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Petridian and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees).

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Petridian operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
